Profile
I am Aaron Drew, the founder of A-NET. I design, build and maintain practical technology systems across infrastructure, hosting, networking, automation, web development and bespoke software.
Much of my work involves the systems operating behind websites and day-to-day services. This includes servers, databases, APIs, deployment processes, secure remote access, monitoring, integrations and internal management tools.
My approach is based on understanding the actual requirement before choosing the technology. The aim is to build something reliable and useful without introducing unnecessary complexity.
I also manage the ongoing operation of A-NET, including its hosted services, software projects, infrastructure and technical support.

My experience covers Windows and Linux servers, virtualisation, enterprise and small-business networks, databases, web services, scripting, hardware, diagnostics and self-hosted infrastructure.
Technologies used across A-NET projects include Node.js, JavaScript, Python, Lua, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, IIS, Docker, Proxmox and a range of networking and infrastructure platforms.
